Competition Rules
One wine per winery.
All entries must be made with 100% grapes grown in Ontario.
Red, white, sparkling, rosé, orange and Icewine are all eligible.
The wine must be available for sale when entered.
A minimum of 10 cases must be available at the time of entry.
Three bottles are required for judging.
Entry fee is $50, payable by e-transfer to twoguystalkingwine@gmail.com.
All wines are tasted fully blind.
Wines are randomly drawn into a single-elimination bracket.
There are no style or varietal categories — every wine competes for the same title.
Each matchup is decided by Michael Pinkus and André Proulx.
If the judges are split, Tony Aspler casts the deciding vote.
Entries must be received by September 30, 2026.
Only one wine will be crowned Ontario’s Ultimate Wine 2026.
